a place of great naturalistic interest!
A unique place, a forest of beech and chestnut trees with shaded vegetation in summer, and clean and protected in all seasons. READ THE PACKAGE
Many points of tourist attraction, such as the Church of the Ermicciolo which dates back to the 11th century, the ancient cells of the Camaldolese monks, transformed into drying rooms for chestnuts, the suggestive ‘sasso della civetta’, a panoramic point for young and old. And above all the Ermicciolo springs, which you can visit with the volunteers of the local community cooperative Parco Vivo: an incredible place where drinking water of excellent quality flows naturally from the rock. The water is channeled into an aqueduct built in the early 1900s, whose charm continues to this day, and brings drinking water to the city of Siena and much of the province itself.
from the warm waters of Bagno Vignoni, to the cold waters of the springs...
